Support when you're holding it all together —just barely.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
You're still showing up, still functioning. But internally, the pressure has become hard to ignore. I work with expats and international professionals navigating anxiety, burnout, and the weight of building a life abroad.
Many of my clients are capable professionals who continue functioning while quietly struggling. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from this kind of support.
You don't have to be falling apart to reach out.
WHO I WORK WITH
Anxiety, overthinking, or persistent mental pressure
Burnout or prolonged work-related exhaustion
Difficulty regulating emotions under stress
Adjustment challenges from living and working abroad
Stress or uncertainty during sick leave periods
Work-related health concerns in a Dutch employment context
I support adults — primarily expats and internationally mobile professionals — experiencing emotional or work-related stress that has become hard to manage alone.
A note on scope
This practice offers non-clinical counseling — focused on reflection, emotional regulation, and practical guidance. It is not psychotherapy or medical treatment under Dutch healthcare law.
If you are unsure whether this is a good fit, that’s exactly what the first conversation is for.
I will always tell you honestly if a different form of care would serve you better.
Structured support, grounded in evidence.
My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles and Mindfulness-based methods. Sessions are practical and goal-oriented — building real tools, not just talking about problems.
We identify the thinking habits that fuel anxiety or burnout — catastrophising, avoidance, self-criticism — and work to interrupt them with more useful responses.
Understanding thought patterns
Rather than suppressing how you feel, we build practical skills for managing emotional reactions under pressure — in high-stakes work or interpersonal situations.
Emotional regulation
Each session produces something concrete you can use. The goal is a measurable shift in how you navigate the situations causing stress.
Practical, everyday tools
Is this the right kind of support?
Non-clinical counseling is appropriate for people who want structured psychological support but do not require diagnosis or treatment under Dutch healthcare law.
If you are unsure, please reach out. A brief conversation is always the best way to clarify — and I will refer you elsewhere if another form of care would serve you better.
